Hello, My name is Dawid Gąsiorowski. I'm a graduate from Wyższa Szkoła Technologii Informatycznych w Katowicach (WSTI), Graphics design with game development specialisation.
Game development is a topic I had great interest in for a long time, I even dabbled in some very simple modding very early on, but those works are better to be left in the past. I have also tried myself in Unreal Engine 4, once it become public and since then I've made a great progress towards understanding this tool, which I can show with my latest project I made during SKVOT Level design course
I've been making levels and tracks for various games for a while and I finally feel like my work is on high enough level to show it. Back then I was tinkering with different level editors like one in Far Cry 2, Crashday or Cossacks, but that was on very amateur level, although I still make tracks for Crashday from time to time.
Now I can work with current iteration of Valves Hammer tool for Source 2, Trenchbroom for various Quake engine based games and Unreal Engine 5. For a moment I was also using Hammer for Source with Hammer++ addon, but this is a tool I need more experience with to be truly comfortable with.
